This year was the first year that the corps held full weekend camps during the season to rehearse, the first one being at Kibblestone Scout Camp.

The colour guard became a very strong feature in 1995 under the guidance of Martin and Sharron Ibbs.

The members had performed with Liberty colour guard in that winter and it was the start of very strong links between the two organizations.
